Privacy Policy
LC Beacon is a social media publishing service operated by Sacred Kaleidoscope Community LLC (“we”, “us”). It lets you write a post once and publish or schedule it to the social accounts you connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name and email address, which you use to sign in. LC Beacon shares its sign-in with LifeCharter Command Suite and the LifeCharter Collective.
- The social accounts you connect. For each one: the account's public profile (name, username, profile picture, follower count), its identifier on that platform, and the access credential the platform issues so we can publish for you. We never see or store your social media passwords.
- Your content. The captions, images, videos, titles, tags and schedules you create in LC Beacon.
- Publishing results. Whether each post went out on each platform, the link to it, and any error the platform returned.
- Basic technical records. Server logs such as request times and addresses, kept to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To publish and schedule your posts to the accounts you chose, at the times you chose.
- To show you your posts, calendar, connected accounts and what happened to each post.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to answer you when you ask for help.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your content or your social account data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Information from social platforms
When you connect an account (for example a Facebook Page, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, X or Bluesky account), that platform asks you to approve exactly what LC Beacon may do. We use that access only to read the profile details listed above and to publish the content you create. We do not read your private messages, and we do not post anything you did not write or schedule.
LC Beacon's use of information received from Google APIs (including YouTube) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Who we share it with
- The platforms you publish to receive the posts you send them.
- Our service providers host the application and its database and store your media, under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing those services.
- LifeCharter Command Suite, if you use it, can create and schedule posts in your LC Beacon workspace on your behalf.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How we protect it
Each workspace's accounts and posts are visible only to that workspace's members. Platform access credentials are encrypted before they are stored and are never sent to your browser. Connections travel over encrypted links.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Disconnecting a social account deletes its stored credential immediately. When you ask us to delete your data or close your account, we delete your workspace, posts, media and connections within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Your choices
- Disconnect any social account at any time on the Accounts page, or revoke LC Beacon's access in that platform's own settings.
- Edit or delete any post in LC Beacon. Deleting a post in LC Beacon does not remove it from a platform where it was already published.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. See Delete your data.
Children
LC Beacon is for business use by adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
